Summertime

This tender deciduous perennial bulb produces giant sized flowers, 20-25cm across! The flower colours range from white to red and all shades in between. The flowers appear 5-6 weeks after the bulb is kept dry over the Winter months. Start watering in mid November for it to flower around Christmas. Each bulb produces two flower stems that flower in succession, extending the flowering period to about two weeks.
