Name: Veltheimia bracteata (Hyacinthaceae)


Flowers

This spring bulb produces a receme of turbular flowers densely placed at the end of a long spotty stalk. The long glossy leaves have wavy margins. A native of South Africa, it grows during the wet winter months and dies down during the dry summer.
